The thylacine, one of nature's jewels, dead in the 1930's due to overhunting and eventually wiped out completely when the caretakers of the last known specimen was left in the freezing cold and burning hot of its outdoor enclosure.

Many fans believe thylacines are not extinct, just really good at hiding. It's kinda like the coelocanth. It's only a matter of time before a small pack is found in some jungle somewhere.

If they're really good at hiding, how will we know? There are many sightings, but I'm sure the locals don't want people stomping through their wilds hunting animals for whatever purpose.

What a Beautiful Tazzy-Tiger.
One of the cutest animals in the furry world. Like many of the incredible (and adorable) creatures native to the continent of Oceania, the thylacine has it's own unique combination of features. Who wouldn't love a marsupial with tiger stripes and a puppydog face. :D

Fantastic job on the artwork. I love the smiley expression on the Tiger's face. Well done :D

In some ways I don't think they are extinct, but since there has not been any proof of their existence, we only have claims and many sightings.
